A love of art and books brought Dave and Chrisila together. After seeing each other countless times at the crowded Society of Illustrators shows, they found themselves both working at HarperCollins. For years they designed children's books a few feet away from each other. And then finally at a Harper Christmas party, Chrisila and Dave started joking around, and haven't stopped since.

They still spend their days designing children's books, but now from their office that overlooks their garden in Park Slope.
